Hello, I’m Stephanie Militello and you’re not.
I am a recent student graduate from Elon University in N.C. I was a communications major with a focus in Media Arts & Entertainment and a concentration in cinema. In addition, I minored in music technology. I grew up on Long Island, NY, just an hour train ride from New York City. And, it was one particular train ride, my senior year of high school, that led to my passion for the entertainment industry – a live taping of the Conan O’Brien show. In one hour taping, I was in love with communications, with comedy, and, with Conan. While comedy is my passion, I love being a part of all types of productions. At school, I have participated in Newsbreakers, a short narrative television comedy show similar to “The Office,” as well as a writer for a sketch comedy show called Elon Tonight. I have also tried my hand in public relations as a member of the creative team for Live Oak Communications. Finally, I co-hosted an hour long talk-show on WSOE 89.3 radio called “The Top Ten.” Throughout my college career, I have made an effort to gain experience outside the classroom and I am always looking to learn more.
